Building a Legacy

2005

Yas Holding was established as Emirates Advanced Investments, with a focus on defence industries.

2009 – 2010

The Group saw rapid expansion, including our first investments into agriculture and food.

2011 – 2012

We established several construction businesses, fuelling our ambitions to shape the future.

2013 – 2014

Following the establishment of our civil aviation business, we commenced our ongoing partnership with Abu Dhabi Airports Company.

2015 – 2016

Our major defence businesses were transferred to Emirates Defence Industries Company (EDIC), and we restructured our existing companies into divisions.

2017 – 2018

The Group rebranded to Yas Holding, and acquired Marmum Dairy.

2019

Al Rawafed, Selbar and Al Mayar Groups joined Yas Holding, and we acquired Wellpharma. Our remaining five defence companies moved to Emirates Defence Group (EDGE).

2021

To strengthen our pharmaceutical platform, we acquired Geltec and Gulf Inject.

2022

We established Taraf Development to drive our expansion into the real estate industry.
